Pool decks need pool-water-safe chemistry because anything that drifts into the pool changes the water chemistry — bleach-based products are out, surfactants get rinsed carefully. Patios are usually further from a water source and can take standard chemistry. Pool deck coatings (Kool Deck, cool-deck acrylic, stamped concrete with sealer) also need substrate-matched pressure. Yes, screen enclosures around indoor or seasonal Calgary pools get a soap-and-rinse with the lowest pressure setting (high pressure tears the screen). Pollen, dust, algae on the screen all lift with the surfactant; rinse is downward to keep water out of the pool. Cage frames (aluminum or steel) get a wax or sealer pass after the wash to slow future oxidation. Screen replacement is a different trade we will refer if needed.
Not with proper prep.
