Building facades, parking lots, storefronts, dumpster pads, HOA exteriors, fleet washing, restaurant exteriors and heavy equipment. Recurring contracts available monthly or quarterly. $5M commercial general liability, WCB coverage, certificate of insurance within 24 hours. Most Calgary commercial jobs land between $500 and $5,000 per visit depending on scope.
How commercial scope differs
Commercial pressure washing is not a scaled-up version of a residential job — it is a different operation. Building facades go to six storeys with rope-access rigs for the upper levels. Parking lots run 40,000 square feet plus and need a five-hour overnight window. Dumpster pads need a degreaser-plus-sanitiser sequence on a recurring schedule for health-code compliance. HOA exteriors carry insurance and board-approval paperwork that residential work does not. The scope sits in a written contract — line-itemised services, per-visit pricing, recurring schedule with hold dates, COI naming the owner or manager as additional insured, change-order process for added scope. We work with property management companies, retail tenants, restaurant operators, HOA boards, construction GCs for post-build cleanups, and fleet operators. Pair your commercial scope with building washing for the envelope, parking lot cleaning for the lot and pads, or HOA exterior cleaning for multi-unit work.
How a commercial Hartford engagement runs
Site walk with the facilities manager or property lead. Scope confirmation, access logistics, after-hours timing, COI + WCB document handover.
Line-itemised scope, per-square-foot pricing where applicable, recurring cadence, COI listing the property as additional insured.
Tenant-hour-aware. Most commercial cleans run early-morning or weekend. Lift, scaffold or rope-access if elevation requires.
Walk-through with facilities lead, before/after photo set, written completion report, invoice on net-15 terms.

Learn moreCalgary commercial realities
Calgary commercial pressure washing has a calendar most other cities do not. April through October is the active window for outdoor work, with parking-lot deep cleans concentrated in May (after the city snow-clearing residue) and August (before back-to-school traffic). November through March, dumpster pads and indoor warehouse floors are the bulk of the work — outdoor scope is limited by freeze risk. Fleet washing runs year-round in heated bays. We scale crew capacity for the summer overnight window — three to five overnight crews running June through August on parking lots and storefronts so retail tenants get their work done outside business hours. Contract holders get first-call on the summer schedule before ad-hoc booking opens up. Pair with sealing services for the post-wash penetrating sealer on contracted concrete, or with parking lot cleaning as the recurring backbone of most commercial contracts.
Commercial scope questions
Five questions that come up before signing a recurring contract.
From the blog
Hartford runs our facade and parkade-pillar wash twice a year. They schedule the work for Saturday 5am so the tenants never see it happen. Net-15 invoicing matches our AP cycle exactly.
Sidewalk gum + storefront-glass package across 14 retail bays. Hartford coordinated with the property tenants on access, hit every window in one overnight window, COI was on file before the crew arrived.
Quarterly dumpster-pad degrease across three buildings. Our health-inspector flag scores improved at the next visit. The crew knows what the inspector checks for.
Annual HOA exterior wash for 22 units. Hartford did one written board presentation, one schedule, one invoice — exactly what a volunteer board needs. Five seasons running now.
